Started attending Atlee in March 1998, while we were still in the high school. Served on the tech team, setup and take-down teams, small group leader, and extension ministries. Currently running sound for the band and coaching small group leaders (and managing this blog).
Have been on several local mission trips such as Camp Piankatank in VA and Liebenzell USA in NJ (our Ecuador connection). Looking forward to my first mission trip outside the US… what we will learn and what will be accomplished, the relationships we will establish and enhance.
Favorite scriptures include:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13
“… but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

What a great blog! Thanks for doing it. That way I can keep up with what my sis is up to (that’s Linda Warden). I’m praying for her and Paul and the whole team.
Blessings

Hey Frank, hope you are doing okay, Brother! You are in my prayers! Hope the weather is good this week, and that you have a great time and good fellowship and lots of influence on the people down there for our Lord and Savior! Enjoy your time in Equador, and may God richly bless you and keep you! Thanks so much for keeping us posted on this blog!

Hi Frank-
I was at your table at the Needle’s Eye Luncheon today. Your trip sounded so interesting that I thought I would check out some of the information. I have a heart for missions and my daughter is actually studying to be a missionary at Abilene Christian University, Abilene, TX. I can’t spend too much time looking now as I am at work–but the Market pictures are incredible, thought the dead chickens was sorta gross.LOL My favorite photo so far is the one of Cuicocha Lake with the hill islands in the background and the red flowers in the fore ground. BEAUTIFUL! I will check out more of the sight at home. Have a fabulous Valentines Day!!! Terry

Hello Frank-
I was checking out the website to look at any new pics that may have been posted. I am sure that this is a lot of work but such a ministry for others to be able to share in the team’s experiences. If you have time I had a couple of questions. I am curious as to the size of the two churches that you visited in Ecuador? Also what is the primary religion practiced there?
Oh yes, I metioned to Bill Medlin that we shared a table last week at Needle’s Eye-he also remembered you from BNI.
Do you happen to know the Mathes Family–I know that they used to attend Atlee? Have a blessed evening. Terry
